I have to start by saying yes, this is a public love letter to my wife. I know, I know . . . there is no other way I could start this process without first acknowledging my heart. When we found each other we were both at individual crossroads. This relationship figuratively and literally saved my life. We have had to make conscious decisions independent from one another on what our values are. I just thank God those values aligned and that the journey (or process) has been demandingly beautiful. I want to speak directly to you now, Jenny "Happiness" Ferdinand. I love that nickname because it’s a direct reflection on the role you have played in my life. Actually, a more accurate word would be “Joy.” I believe it goes without saying we have had some trying times in our relationship. However, even in those moments, grace and beauty ever abound in you. Thank you for teaching me how to live a more stable and consistent life. As our love continues to develop, the Lord uses you to unlock many secrets of the universe and give me a deeper understanding of self. The awareness of my calling in life happened only when our paths were aligned. For that I will forever be grateful to you (Thank you).

It's not a mistake those three verses accompany one another. You're literally the woman I prayed for. I could not have made a better women for me than the one the Lord blessed me with. Also, our relationship has only been this amazing because from the very start we took the “D“ word off the table. With that understanding we have worked through it all!! TOGETHER!! We have always spoken "life" over our relationship. Lastly, a man that finds a WIFE (Proverbs 31: 10-31) finds a good (amazing, rare, precious, priceless) thing and obtains Favor!! Lord knows I have had amazing favor on my life. I can't write this without pointing out the way you love our children.  I know you wrestle with being a career woman and being a wife and mother, but I am here to tell you, Jenny, you do an amazing job!! There are many things we could all improve on when it comes to life so those feelings will always be there. The question of “Am I doing enough?” will always exist. The world can see the fruit of your labor when it comes to our children. Egypt is a loving child with manners and a deeper care for those around him. That’s because of you, honey. Hilaire lights up when you walk in the room — God forbid you don't acknowledge him with in the first 30 seconds!! Jenny, I can speak about you all day. These words only scratch the surface of what you mean and have done to inspire our relationship and family. I haven't even touched on the extended family, friends, and co-workers the you give a piece of your heart on a daily basis. Thank you. To the woman I get to call WIFE, I am honored you would trust me with all of you! "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates."
